Discuss invisible braces with your dentist Bunbury
When people are considering options for treatment for their front teeth, they sometimes want to consider the cosmetic options. This can be so for both restoration of worn or broken down teeth, but also for the straightening of their teeth. One cosmetic option for tooth straightening is the teeth straightening system called Invisalign.
Invisalign is an excellent alternative to braces

How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign uses a series of clear aligners, a new one every two weeks, that gently push your teeth into alignment. What makes Invisalign an appealing form of treatment is that these clear aligners are almost invisible; most people won’t know that you are wearing them. Invisalign aligners are generally best for minor or mild orthodontic problems, but may not be great for some major straightening. You should always consult with your dentist to find out if Invisalign is right for you. If you are the perfect candidate and ready to go, you will get your mouth measured and a treatment plan will be put in place. You will need to wait about 6 weeks for your aligners to be made and in that time, it is often recommended that you have your teeth professionally cleaned.
You should expect to wear the Invisalign aligners for at least 22 hours a day. You can take them out when you eat or drink and when you brush your teeth, but that’s it. If you do not adhere to that, your teeth will not straighten and you will have likely thrown several thousand dollars away. Just because these aligners are removable, it doesn’t mean you should keep them out. Worst case scenario is that you leave them out for too long and your teeth shift out of place meaning you need to start the process all over again.
The Invisalign system is similar to braces, but they are removable and best of all, invisible, which is something that is important to many adults.
